Tea

Tea refers to the leaves, leaf buds and internodes of the tea plant, whose botanical name is Camellia Sinensis. Tea is second largest consumed beverage in the world, after water. It is mostly available in four varieties in the market, black tea, oolong tea, green tea and white tea. History says that, tea originated in china, and Chinese claims, tea to be the best, antidote. And in India, tea was known only as a medicinal plan till 1830s; but now India is the largest producer and consumer of tea now, with 30 percentage of production and 25 percentage of consumption.

Padma Subramaniyam

Padma Subramaniam is an artiste of rare and unique sensibility, perception, and interpretation. She is the daughter of the reputed film maker, K. Subramaniam. Padma was born on1943, and became a famous dancer by the age of 17 in Indian style of dancing, Bharata natyam. She researched on the “kranas” (unit dance movements), that were sculptured on the walls of Nataraja temple, Chidambaram. During her study of natya shastra, she also found that, “Nritya” is the best applied term for “Natyam”, and she called her dance, “Bharata Nrityam”. She has been awarded almost all the awards for dance, including Padma shree and kalidas samman awards.

4. It is the heart, which gets affected first if we are mentally disturbed or affected. Almost everything is connected with heart from birth to death, and heart disease was a major cause for death. But thanks to science and technology which has contributed a lot to protect our heart from deadly conditions. An artificial heart is one among such contributions. This artificial heart dates back to 1950s and it was Dr. Paul Winchell who patented the first artificial heart. However it was first implanted by Dr. Barney Clark in 1982 and the heart was called as jarvik-7, designed by Robert jarvik.

Sri Krishna

In Hindu mythology, Sri Krishna is the eighth incarnation of the Vaishnava god Vishnu and is worshipped in thousands of temples in India. But he is also claimed to be The Lord or The Lord Himself in Krishnaism, and not the incarnation of any other god. Sri Krishna is depicted as an infant, playing flute in Bhagavata purana. And he is depicted as a prince, giving direction and guidance in bhagavatha Gita. The name Krishna means, Black, dark or dark blue. The member of Ahmadiya Muslim community believes Krishna to be a great prophet of god, as described by their founder Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

Marriages are made in heaven. This old quote expresses the desirable quality of marriage which is always an enjoyable occasion. People knew the art of living by giving up for their loved ones. But the modern quote is that, marriages are made in heaven and broken in family courts, which strongly puts across the increasing number of divorces. The concept of divorce was introduced when a spouse is not satisfied with his/her marriage life. But now it is to be regretted for the increasing divorce rates, as everyone wants others to sacrifice and they are not ready to do so.
